What is the Set Free! We all have hurts, hang-ups and habits that hinder our relationship with God and others. The Set Free! Seminar is an opportunity to invite God to bring healing into your life and where you can experience His love, grace, and forgiveness. Through worship, teaching, and small group interaction you will discover a freedom in your life that only God can give. God has called His people to live righteous lives and be His light in this world. We cannot possibly accomplish His calling with sin in our lives. It acts as a veil that dims our light and affects every part of our walk with Christ.
Set Free! is a two-day retreat by Church Renewal set aside to focus on learning how to deal with sin, hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you really are my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE” (John 8:31-32 NIV).
It is a seven-session series aiming to bring participants to an encounter with God and freedom in Jesus. Be prepared to allow the Holy Spirit to work in your heart as you listen to God's Word and work on practicum exercises. For some exercises, you work individually, and others with a partner. Each participant must attend all sessions.

We have seen many people set free from sinful strongholds and hurts in their lives through Christ’s power found in confession, forgiveness and inner healing. Just a note regarding 'realistic expectations'. . . this retreat is not like a vacation - a time of rest and relaxation. Rather, it is a time of intense teaching and practicing the things you learn. So, come prepared not to evaluate the teaching and merely increase your knowledge, but come willing to participate in pursuing the freedom that God has for us! And please plan to attend the entire weekend! Don’t miss this opportunity to be set free and experience true freedom in Jesus.
