What's new
What to Expect on Sunday Afternoon
1. Check-In (Before Service)
When you arrive at Living Grace, head to our Kids Check-In station in the lobby. You can scan our QR code to check in on your phone or check in on Kids Ministry laptop with the help of a volunteer manually. A volunteer will hand you a matching set of security stickers. One goes on your child, and one stays with you!
2. Worship Together
We love having families worship together! Children join their parents in the sanctuary for the first 20 minutes of the service. This is a time for us to sing and pray as one big church family.
3. The Dismissal
About halfway through the service, our Pastor or worship leader will invite the children to head to their classrooms. You’ll walk your child to the basement, where our background-checked volunteers will be waiting to welcome them. If you haven’t completed check-in yet, stop in the lobby to do so.
Note: Please ensure your child is wearing their sticker tag before they head to class!
4. Age-Appropriate Learning
While you enjoy the sermon, your kids will have a blast in either their Littles class (Ages 4-6) or Bigs class (Ages 7-11)! Our Sunday School time includes:
Bible Story: A fun, engaging lesson from the Word.
Activities: Hands-on crafts or games that reinforce the lesson.
Prayer: A time to talk to Jesus altogether.
5. Secure Pickup
After the service ends, head back to your child’s classroom. Present your Parent Security Tag to the volunteer at the door. We will match your 4-digit code to your child's code to ensure a safe and secure handoff.

Frequently Asked Questions
At Living Grace, your child’s safety is our top priority. We’ve moved to a secure, digital check-in system to ensure every child is accounted for and released only to their parent or authorized guardian. Here is everything you need to know!
-
When you arrive, simply scan the QR code located at the Kids Ministry entrance using your smartphone. This will take you to our secure check-in form on the church website. Fill out the brief info (names, phone number, and allergies) and hit "Submit."
What happens after I hit "Submit"? Our check-in volunteer will see your registration pop up on their system instantly. They will then hand you two matching stickers:
The Name Tag: Place this on your child’s back or shirt.
The Parent Tag: Keep this with you—you’ll need it for pickup!
What is the 4-digit code on my sticker? Every Sunday, our system generates a unique, random Security Code for your family. This code changes every Sunday. We verify that the code on your Parent Tag matches the one on your child’s tag before we release them to you.
-
At the end of the service, please head to your child’s classroom and present your Parent Tag to the volunteer(s). Once they verify the matching code, your child will be released to you.
Can someone else pick up my child? Only if they have your physical Parent Tag. If you need another family member or friend to pick up your child, please give them your tag after service and ensure to leave a special note at check-in.
What if I lose my Parent Tag? Don’t worry! Safety is our priority, so if a tag is lost, please see the Ministry Coordinator(s). We will verify your identity against our records and your ID before releasing your child.
-
If your child is upset, becomes ill, or simply needs your attention, we will send a text message to the phone number you provided during check-in. Please keep your phone on "vibrate" during the service.
-
Our check-in form includes a specific section for allergies or special instructions. This information is printed directly on your child’s name tag so that every volunteer in the room is aware of their needs.
-
Nope! The process to check-in is exactly the same by completing the Check-In form. Our volunteers are stationed at the desk to walk you through it and answer any questions you might have about our classrooms and curriculum.
However, if it is your first time with us, please register your family (kids) by clicking here and completing the online form.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our kids safe while they learn about Jesus! If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to our Kids Coordinators at any time.
